I met them Mid-journey - Photoshoot

To create I met them Mid-journey’s immersive experience, I directed a studio photoshoot.

The goal of the shoot was to capture the people I would meet on this hypothetical road trip. They represent stereotypes of rural America: an Amish woman, a Southern outcast, a Nebraska rancher navigating Las Vegas, and an orphan living on a potato farm in Idaho. To create an immersive photo-shoot, I want everything to be done in-camera. The backdrops were rendered in the AI prompt-to-image software Midjourney and projected in a photo studio. The models were styled by me. This project earned me the Immersive Storytelling award at the Graphic Communication Design as... awards.
