Illustrations

When illustrating on my own time, I usually gravitate towards oil pastels.
I have a love for layering color and working with texture. My illustrations
tell a story, they are scenes, usually centered around a human subject.

I am interested in themes of the mask, innocence and isolation. I find that
I juxtapose unsettling moods with still/calm environments. I like the idea
of the subject looking into the viewer, and in effect, confronting the viewer.
