2025 Calendar

As a group of 6 designers (myself included) we designed a 2025 calendar, each given two months to design in our respective styles. January and April were my months.

For January, I channeled the new moon. Using found imagery of an eclipse, I inverted it to signal new light and new beginnings. The days of the month are laid out in two week blocks corresponding to the slices of the days of the week in the center of the moon. This was an exercise in challenging the way that we organize linear time.

In April, I channeled April showers, lighter showers at the beginning of the month into heavier showers at the end of the month. Starting on a Tuesday, the days of the month fall diagonally and the week repeats after six vertical droplets.
